Job Title: Freelance Site Manager – Housing Development
Location: Durham
Duration: Approx. 3 Weeks
Start: 2nd of March
Rate: Competitive Day Rate (DOE)We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a live housing development in Durham for approximately three weeks.
This is a short-term contract role covering site operations on a residential scheme, ensuring programme, quality, and H&S standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of a live housing site

Coordinating trades and subcontractors

Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme

Maintaining high standards of health & safety

Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
-
Liaising with Contracts Manager and client representatives
-
Managing snagging and finishing works (if applicable)
Requirements:
-
Proven experience managing residential housing sites
-
Valid SMSTS
-
CSCS (Black or Gold preferred)

First Aid at Work

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
