Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team based in Manchester to work on a variety of projects. This role would suit an ambitious, driven Quantity Surveyor looking to progress their career and run their own projects. With a strong pipeline of work, this is a great time to join the team.  

Responsibilities: 

• Manage all costs relating to construction projects, from initial estimates through to final accounts.
• Prepare and maintain cost plans, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Prepare bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and tender documentation.
• Analyse and evaluate contractor quotations and tenders.

Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying
• JCT and NEC knowledge
• Previous experience working for a main contractor as a Quantity Surveyor
• Ability to work on own as well as part of a team
• To be able to travel to development sites as and when required
• Full UK driving licence
