Role: Senior Designer

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Type: Permanent

Location: East London

We are looking for an ambitious and talented Senior Architect or Senior Interior Designer to join our client's growing multi-disciplinary design studio in East London.  You will be at a senior level, responsible for project management and taking a hands-on approach. You will also have the chance to work on both large and small-scale workplace fit-outs, residential refurbishments, and healthcare environments.

This studio is situated near green open parks, great restaurants, and offers easy connections into the city. This presents a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and collaborative studio environment that also provides flexible working options.

The Senior Designer will ideally have the following attributes:

• A degree or diploma qualification in Architecture, Interior Design, or an equivalent qualification.
• A minimum of 10 years' experience in the commercial or workplace sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of Revit would be beneficial.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Competence in client engagement from fee proposal to on-site delivery.
• A robust supply chain knowledge in the workplace sector.
• The right to work in the UK.

The responsibilities of the Senior Designer role include:

• Contributing to the growth of the business and generating new projects.
• Networking with industry professionals and representing the studio at selected trade events.
• Developing the conceptual side of the design with an extensive source of inspirational ideas.
• Leading design projects across all RIBA stages.
• Effective communication with clients, suppliers, and the design team.
• Attending client meetings, trade fairs, and supplier meetings.
