Are you an experienced estimator looking to take the next step in your career? We are thrilled to partner with a dynamic main contractor that is on the lookout for a talented Estimator to join their growing team. With a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from £50k to £20m, this is a fantastic opportunity to work on exciting developments and contribute to major construction initiatives.

About the Company:
Our client is a reputable main contractor known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, and industrial. They pride themselves on their collaborative approach, commitment to innovation, and dedication to excellence, making them a sought-after partner in the construction industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 
- Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of projects, ensuring all aspects are considered.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bidding.
- Analyse and interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed estimates.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and competition to enhance bid effectiveness.
- Support the procurement processes to secure the best materials and subcontractor services.
  
What They’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as an Estimator within the main contracting sector.
- Strong knowledge of pricing, construction methods, and contract law.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication abilities and the capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
