Have you recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying? Are you looking to learn on the job experience?
Our Client, a National New Build Housing Developer, is looking for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial department in the Northeast.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting, monitoring and delivery of budgets throughout the projects.
- Ability to use a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office.
- Assist in placing orders, and producing accurate and timely reports for the business.
- Assist with forecasting cost of materials required for projects.
- Liaise with subcontractors, site staff and further departments to ensure communication and collaboration is of standard.
What we need from you:
- The ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Hold relevant industry requirements; RICS and a surveying degree or HND.
