Role: Architectural Technologist
Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type: Permanent
Location: South London
We are currently looking for an Architectural Technologist to become part of our client's multi-disciplinary architectural team, showcasing expertise in landscape, interior, and urban design. The ideal candidate will be experienced in running medium sized projects, with involvement in both public and private sectors, and skilled in BIM.
The Architectural Technologist will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or diploma qualification in Architectural Technology.
- A minimum of 3-4 years' experience in the industry.
- The ability to produce packages using stages 3 and 4.
- Proficiency in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD and Revit
- Proficiency in both written and verbal English.
- The right to work in the UK.
The responsibilities of the Architectural Technologist include:
- Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications based on design concepts
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations and standards
- Prepare and present detailed design proposals
- Prepare specifications for construction work
- Liaise with contractors and subcontractors during construction phase
- Conducting site visits and participating in site and project team meetings as needed
