Role Overview:
As a Document Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the documentation process throughout the project lifecycle. This role is crucial for ensuring that all project documents are accurate, organized, and accessible to the relevant stakeholders. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to facilitate effective communication and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities::
- Set up the site filing system to record and maintain all project documentation.
- Prepare and maintain a suitable Contract Drawing Matrix for the control and issue of Contract and Drawings.
- Collate the Project Manager's internal monthly reports.
- Prepare and issue weekly plant and material returns.
- Control and maintain the Health & Safety File.
- Prepare all necessary documentation for incorporation into the O&M Manuals at Project Completion.
- Input data into site waste management plans.
- Document Coordinator for all BIW, project drawings.
- Assist, when necessary, the site secretarial staff with the site correspondence, filing, etc.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry.
- Experience in working with Common Data Environment Systems (CDE) - Asite, Conject, BIM 360 or BIM Docs.
- Strong interpersonal, communications and organisation skills.
- Able to work well under pressure, prioritise work load effectively and meet deadlines.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office 365.
