Site Supervisor Required for Asbestos Roof Replacement Project

Start Date: Monday 21st of October

Project Overview:
We are working with a client who are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee a critical project involving the removal and replacement of asbestos cement sheet roofing with new Kingspan roofing across three units. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the project, it is ongoing until January with the chance of a second project nearby once finished.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the removal and replacement of asbestos cement roofing.
- Coordinate and manage three sub-contractors efficiently.
- Handle tenant communications and provide regular updates.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive working environment for all operatives on site.
- Navigate political dynamics among stakeholders to maintain project momentum.

Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a candidate who possesses strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to engage effectively with both tenants and operational teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working on a similar type of project.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in site supervision, preferably within the construction sector.
- Knowledge of asbestos handling and roofing systems, particularly Kingspan.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- SMSTS and First Aid Essential
