- Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Freelance / Temp to Perm Site Manager working on a re-fit of a doctor’s surgery. This is based in Huddersfield and is predicted to be around a 6-month contract.
You will be working as a No 1 Site Manager on site so relative experience as a No 1 is crucial.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently
- Organise and manage sub-contractors on site
- Maintain accurate records including site diaries, health and safety logs etc.
- Oversee project timelines and updating key stakeholders
- Implement and enforce health and safety practices, adhering to SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) guidelines
Requirements:
- Possession of SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS card qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team
- Recent related experience on similar projects
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
