Job: Architectural Technologist
Location: North Yorkshire
Term: Permanent
Salary: £23,500-£35,000 per annum dependent on experience (Please advise what you’re looking for)
Our client are an award-winning studio, looking to take on Architectural Technologist on a permanent basis, in the North Yorkshire area. You will be working across the design and delivery of residential schemes, commercial and logistics projects across the UK and will ideally come from a Revit background.
The Architectural Technologist will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree or background in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Have experience in Revit or similar CAD software
- 2 or more years’ experience working in a similar position
- Highly motivated, well organised and thoughtful
- The ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Excellent understanding of building regulations and RIBA stages.
The Architectural Technologist role will involve:
- Producing building designers using Revit and other 3D software’s
- Preparing documents to help with getting planning permission and similar approvals
- Visit site to check progress and inspect work when possible
- Keep up to date with legislations and standards
- Researching planning regulations and communicating with local authorities about planning permission
