Description

Are you an experienced Working Supervisor looking for your next career move where you can build on your knowledge and experience?  If you have worked on a variety of commercial construction projects ideally with both newbuild and refurbishment experience, then this role could be what you’re looking for.

 

With a well established team of direct labour able to deliver full projects with everything inhouse.  You would be responsible for supervising the team onsite to deliver the project on time and to a high finish and health and safety standards, with opportunities to progress in your career with a firm that values its people.

The main office is based in Durham and sites are across the North East so you will need to be able to drive to the site. Work includes commercial newbuild, refurb, and refit projects with some social and domestic housing work.

 

You will have:

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in delivering projects at pace.
  • Have your up-to-date SSSTS (or SMSTS), First Aid, and CSCS card qualifications.
  • Good communication skills and ability to problem-solving.
  • NVQ Level 3 construction supervisor (desired)
  • Valid driving license.
