Electrical Project Lead

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Project Lead to join our client based in Manchester. You will join the senior management team and play a key role in driving the success of the business. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for leading electrical projects from concept to completion, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop strong client relationships to secure new business opportunities and deliver repeat business
* Lead the pre-construction process, including estimating, securing projects, and managing project budgets
* Ensure the health and safety of all projects, monitoring and managing risks to ensure a safe working environment
* Plan and monitor site-based activities, tracking progress against program timelines
* Manage procurement of suppliers and sub-contractors within project budgets, ensuring effective financial management of all supply chain accounts
* Develop and manage project financial plans, including variations, monthly valuations, and final account settlements
* Oversee design management, including both in-house and outsourced design works, depending on project size and complexity

Requirements:

* Proven experience at a senior level in the electrical engineering services industry
* Broad technical knowledge of electrical engineering services and appreciation for other trades and disciplines
* Current certification in health and safety training
* Excellent communication skills at all levels, with proficiency in both verbal and written interactions
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and motivate others
* Design competence, with the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions
* Commercial awareness, including experience with estimating and financial planning
