Job Title: Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

Company Overview:

We are working with a leading company specialising in fit-out, social housing refurbishment, and main contracting projects. They are committed to delivering high-quality services to their clients and are seeking an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Job Description:

As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the projects, including budgeting, cost control, and procurement. You will work closely with the project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, cost control, and procurement
* Assist with estimating, tendering, and contract administration
* Monitor and report on project costs and cash flow
* Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
* Prepare and manage project budgets and financial reports
* Assist with the procurement of materials and services

Requirements:

    + 5 years of experience in quantity surveying
    + Degree qualified is desirable 
    + Strong understanding of construction law and contract administration
    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits:

* Competitive salary: £30-40k depending on experience

Work Arrangements:

* Work from office 2 days a week
* Work from site for the remaining 3 days a week

Project Details:

* They are currently working on a high-rise project in Manchester for, at least, the next 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a complex project with a high-profile client.
