Site Agent

We are working with a top tier main contractor who are seeking a Site Agent to work in the Rail sector on projects around the Oxfordshire region on a full time basis. As the Site Agent you will take ownership of a project by managing resources (people, finance and physical assets) in a safe and timely manner to the required quality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a significant section of the project as the Site Agent.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence.
• Take full ownership and accountability for cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs and forecasts through commercial awareness.
• Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded.
• Identify areas of opportunity and improvement.
• Create a programme to plan and measure the day-to-day activities and medium term plan against the contract programme.
• Quality assurance in accordance with the specification.

What do we need from you?

• Relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience
• Chartered Member of the ICE (or working towards).
• Proven capability working on Network Rail projects, or in a comparable setting.
• Excellent communication and project management skills including leading and managing technical teams.
• Able to take the lead with client interfaces.
• Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the outcomes in terms of quality, cost and programme.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
