Senior Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to advance your career with a leading housebuilder? We are working with a renowned and expanding housebuilder based in the North West, who are looking to add to their Commercial Team.

The Role:
As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the profitability and success of the projects. Your expertise in quantity surveying, alongside your knowledge of JCT contracts, will be invaluable in overseeing the financial aspects of our developments. With a keen eye for detail and exceptional communication skills, you will collaborate closely with our project teams to develop realistic cost plans, monitor budgets, and drive value engineering initiatives.

Requirements:
To flourish in this role, you must have experience in D&B projects. This company will accept a background of either house build or main contracting. A strong understanding of JCT contracts and their implementation is essential. Additionally, you should possess exceptional negotiation skills, enabling you to engage effectively with suppliers and sub-contractors to secure competitive pricing.
