Our client, a reputable civils and building contractor, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Working Site Foreman to join their dynamic team.
As the Working Site Foreman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all times. With your strong leadership skills and extensive experience, you will effectively manage a small team, providing guidance, support, and training as required.
To excel in this role, you will need to have a solid foundation of skills and qualifications. A valid SMSTS/SSSTS certification is essential, as well as a good understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). You will also help to price small jobs but experience in this is not essential as full training will be given.
Our client also values practical experience, so a minimum of 5 years working in a hands-on role is necessary. Additionally, holding machine tickets will be an advantage, as familiarity with various tools and machinery will be beneficial in managing day-to-day operations.
Based on-site in Trafford Park, Manchester, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in the area. Alongside this, a van will be provided to facilitate your travel needs, making your job easier and more convenient.
This is a permanent role, working on the same site carrying out maintenance as and when required on an industrial project.
