- Description
We are currently seeking a competent Setting Out Engineer on behalf of our client, to work on a long term temporary HMP project in Preston.
To be successful in this role, you must possess either an SMSTS or SSSTS qualification and have access to your own equipment. Although not essential, a first aid qualification would be advantageous.
If you don't already have EL1 clearance, you will be required to go through this process. The client also asks that you provide your own equipment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Accurate setting out
- Ensuring the subcontractors' work complies with specifications, and diligently monitoring and recording the quality of workmanship.
- Additionally, when not performing engineering duties, you will play an active role in assisting with the day-to-day running of the site.
Day Rate: £400-£450 per day
Contract length: 34 weeks
