Freelance Site Supervisor – Civils

Location: Morpeth, Northumberland
Duration: Long-term
Contract: Freelance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a long-term civils scheme in Morpeth.

The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day supervision of works on site, coordinating subcontractors and site teams while ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising day-to-day site activities
• Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with RAMS
• Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager
• Ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety across site
• Assisting with site inductions, briefings and toolbox talks
• Supporting the Site Manager with general site administration and record keeping

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within civil engineering
• Strong understanding of civils construction
• SSSTS or SMSTS
• CSCS
• First Aid
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to effectively supervise site teams and subcontractors
