The Client
Our client offer a broad range of civil engineering services within the Housing sectors including; civils & groundworks, . They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based out of their head office close to Castleford.
Role and Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our client are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their successful and growing commercial team. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing various Civil Engineering & Groundworks projects from tender stage through to final account ensuring the smooth financial management of projects under your control.
Responsibilities
·Estimating / Pricing
·Day to day administration contracts
·Capture change
·Production of weekly/monthly P & L’s
·Liaising with project teams on a daily
·Prepare quotes for variation works.
·Take off foundations, drainage, external works for tendering purposes
Requirements
·BSc or Degree in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential)
·3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
·Experience of working within Civil Engineering & Groundworks
·Good technical and contractual knowledge
·Computer literate
·Highly motivated and keen to progress within the company
Company car is on offer with fuel card
