Our client, a Tier 1 National construction firm is looking for high achieving individuals to join them in working on new projects in 2024. They are looking for an experienced Estimator to join the growing team in the North East.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager in the North East office you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient estimates based on contract tender documents and customer enquiries
Person specification
- You are an experienced Estimator looking for the next step in your career.
- Managing client relations and the inquiry process, relaying information in a clear, concise, and timely manner.
- Coordinating and submitting detailed quotations.
- Fostering excellent relationships with current and prospective clients, including attending, and contributing to client meetings.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the estimating and Tender process, liaising closely with clients and all departments across the group.
- Working with the Procurement team to deliver timely and effective bids for new contracts.
- Leading and supporting our junior team members through their professional development.
- Demonstratable practical knowledge of working on multiple projects at various stages at any one time without the need for close supervision.
- Have a diligent approach to the preparation of information to customers and to the checking of information provided by others.
- Be passionate about your career.
- You will need to be able to provide or obtain the right to work in the UK,
- Have a full clean UK driver's licence.
