- Description
As part of our continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Architectural Technologist to support the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Produce technical drawings and detailed design information using Vectorworks
- Support the delivery of projects across all RIBA stages
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams
- Assist with the preparation of planning and Building Regulations packages
- Attend site visits, ensuring quality and compliance with design intent
- Contribute to the technical development and delivery of hospitality and educational schemes
Requirements:
- Qualified Architectural Technologist or Technician (CIAT membership advantageous)
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally on medium to large-scale commercial projects, particularly within hospitality and/or education sectors
- Proven experience working across all RIBA work stages
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction technology, and sustainable design principles
- Excellent CAD skills are essential (experience with Vectorworks is beneficial, though training will be provided)
- BIM modelling and 3D visualisation experience is advantageous
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
