We are seeking an experienced and confident Job Running Architect to join our client’s team in Birmingham. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver projects across a diverse portfolio, including residential, industrial, education, and healthcare schemes.
As a Job Running Architect, you will take responsibility for managing projects through all RIBA stages, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest design and technical standards. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors, driving projects forward from concept through to completion on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects through all RIBA stages, from concept design to handover
- Manage project programmes, budgets, and resources effectively
- Prepare and oversee the production of design and technical drawing packages
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements
- Attend and lead client meetings, design team meetings, and site visits
- Resolve technical and design issues during construction
Requirements:
- Qualified Architect (ARB/RIBA Part 3 or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a job-running role within an architectural practice
- Experience across residential, industrial, education, or healthcare sectors
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Revit
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
