- Description
Linear Recruitment are currently working with a Leading Construction and Residential Contractor, for who we are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyors for an increasing workload across 2024.
Projects are varied but are predominantly in the Social Housing & Public Building refurbishment sector and scheme values can range from £1m - £20m.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage all commercial resources of each required project to maximise planned gross margin
- Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
- Manage authorisation and submission of projects variants, authorise the placement of all contracts, materials and plant orders
- Evaluate all costing and cash flow, and the work performed by sub-contractors In return, the successful applicant will receive a strong financial and benefits package
Applicants should be able to show a proven track record working as a Quantity Surveyor operating for a Main Contractor on schemes of significant value and hold relevant Construction related qualifications.
