Senior Quantity Surveyor – Infrastructure
NorwichThe Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in delivering major infrastructure projects. This position offers real ownership, the chance to influence commercial performance, and involvement across either a flagship project or a portfolio of schemes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving strong health & safety standards across all activities
- Leading subcontract procurement, negotiation, and commercial management
- Managing change control, including Compensation Events
- Producing and agreeing monthly valuations and applications
- Administering contracts and issuing key commercial notices
- Developing cost plans, forecasts, and CVR reporting
- Monitoring subcontractor performance and managing risk
- Collaborating with operational teams to maintain robust site records
- Leading progress and risk meetings with key stakeholders
- Supporting bids and tenders with commercial expertise
What’s Needed
- Strong working knowledge of standard forms of contract
- Experience in infrastructure or major construction projects
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management ability
- Proficient in Excel and commercial systems (e.g. CEMAR, Oracle)
- Degree qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Working towards or holding MCIOB / MRICS (desirable)
- Valid CSCS card
