Description

Assistant Site Manager

Linear Recruitment are currently partnering with an expanding PLC housing developer to find experienced an experienced Assistant Site Manager for their development near Hull.

As the Assistant Site Manager, the successful candidate will assist the Site Manager and the rest of the site team to manage the building project in accordance with agreed timescales, quality and cost.

Responsibilities:

  • To take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your work and adhere to the companies Health, Safety and Sustainability standards.
  • They will be passionate about the building industry and have previous experience gained through working in site management in a similar role.
  • They will be collaborative and confident building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • They will be creative and have the ability to problem solve to ensure the expected fit and finish of all new homes on the site. 
  • They will be solutions focused and work in a straightforward way to ensure a strong customer facing experience on the site, coupled with a delivery focus.
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of building and health and safety legislation, along with Clerk of Works, Buildings or NHBC inspection roles are essential requirements for this position.

 

Requirements:

  • They are looking for Assistant Site Managers with proven experience in residential house building, preferably from a high-quality builder
  • Possession of SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card qualifications.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively assist to manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid driving license.
