- Description
Linear are working alongside a growing housebuilder who is expanding into the Leeds region.
They are looking to hire a Layout Designer
Reporting into the Head of Technical you will be responsible for.
• Reviewing existing planning information and producing constraints and block structure plans.
• Producing drawings
• End to end planning application process
• Production of title plans / site overlays and land contracts plans
• Liaising with internal teams and external consultants

Skills / Person Specification
• Strong design and planning expertise & technical knowledge
• Knowledge of the differing and varying planning requirements, policies and preferences of Local Authorities
• Knowledge of specific design and specification features and planning approaches to expedite planning approvals and maximise value to the Company.
• Sound working knowledge of all CAD and other software packages, and data management systems used by the company
• Sound working knowledge of cost accounting and data management systems used by the company
• Understanding of CDM Regulations, LABC/NHBC requirements and Codes of Practice
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
