We are working with a leading client who are seeking to add a permanent Commercial Manager to work in their Rail sector. As the Commercial Manager you will take responsibility for the stratergy and execution of the Commercial and Quantity Surveying function on allocated projects, whilst maximising profitability and quality of service.

Responsibilities:
- Actively promote health and safety on the workplace, setting a good example to all other employees
- Establish Commercial Stratergy and Framework for the projects and agree, amend and monitor the effectiveness of this with the Construction Director
- Oversee and in some cases manage hands on all aspects of Subcontractor accounts
- Able to work unsupervised to prepare interim valuations and final accounts
- Prepare monthly regional CVR and forecast reports
- Compile project specific commercial issues for reporting and presentation at Client progress meetings
- Work with the project operational staff including supporting the Project Manager and Site Team
What do we need from you?
- Holds a relevant qualification (i.e. minimum of HNC/HND in relevant discipline)
- Thorough understand of NEC/JCT forms of contract
- Experience in Transportation sector (i.e. Rail or Highways)
- Full Driving License
The salary banding is competitive to be discussed upon shortlisting and based upon experience
