Freelance Site Manager – Housing (Leyburn, North Yorkshire)
Duration: Approx. 12 Months
Contract: Freelance / Self-Employed
Competitive Day Rate (DOE)We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a residential housing development in Leyburn, North Yorkshire. This is a freelance opportunity for approximately 12 months, offering the chance to lead a well-structured housing site from early stages through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day site management of a new-build residential development

Managing site teams, subcontractors, and materials deliveries

Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times

Coordinating with project stakeholders including clients, QS, and design teams

Maintaining project timelines and ensuring quality standards are met

Regular reporting and site documentation
Requirements:

Proven experience managing new-build housing sites (volume or bespoke)

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certifications (essential)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage subcontractors effectively

Own transport and full UK driving licence
