- Description
A leading fitout and refurb contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. Based in Stockport, they specialise in delivering projects in range of sectors including industrial, retail, office and leisure.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Prepare tender documents and assist in the tendering process
- Evaluate contractor and sub contractor bids
- Handle disputes and resolve issues related to contract terms in a fair and reasonable manner
- Identify potential risks and provide strategies to mitigate them
- Finalise the accounts at the end of the project, ensuring all costs are documented and settled
- Serve as the main point of contact between the client and the project team
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
- Previous experience within refurb and fit-out
- Experience with various types of projects including industrial, retail, office and leisure
- Full UK driving licence
