Description

Are you a Housing Site Manager looking for a new challenge? Low Volume - High Spec opportunities. 

Brand new site - October start 

Based on a new Housing site in the Selby/ North Yorkshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate Site Manager to work for a high performing, customer-focussed volume house builder in a team that genuinely care about building affordable, quality homes.

You will be managing the onsite team, working with external partners and subcontractors whilst working collaboratively with our onsite Sales team.

Main Responsibilities:

We’re looking for proactive people who genuinely believe in what we’re doing, building homes, changing lives. Collaborative leaders, who positively influence teams, who can strongly communicate across departments, on and offsite. 

The role includes:

  • Managing the development to deliver plots on time and too budget.
  • Responsible for all site staff and sub-contractors.
  • Maintain excellent Health and Safety standards.
  • Liaise with head office, NHBC, Health and Safety, and Local Authority departments.
  • Timely ordering of materials to ensure the build programme can be achieved.
  • Ensure all NHBC inspections are carried out as required.
  • Carry out hand over inspection of properties to the customers in accordance with our customer care procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experiences as a Site Manager working on low volume high spec new build housing development. Must have extensive knowledge and experience of managing labour only groundworkers/contractors.

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction build programmes.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes.
  • Experience of successfully achieving customer service requirements.
  • Awareness of codes of practice that impact on Construction matters e.g. NHBC, Building Regs, etc.

Qualifications & Training:

  • SMSTS Qualification.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid.
  • Fire Marshall.
  • Scaffolding / Scaffold Inspection.
