Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce Subcontract documentation, including terms, prices, and programme negotiations.
  • Manage subcontract works packages, interim assessments, and change management.
  • Issue commercial notices to Clients and Subcontractors as per the contract.
  • Manage timely contract changes, including Compensation Event Quotations.
  • Submit and agree monthly applications with the Client.
  • Liaise with operational and engineering teams to maintain site record standards.
  • Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR).
  • Maintain a ‘Cost Plan,’ tracking and forecasting expenditure.
  • Interpret and evaluate internal cost system expenditure reports.
  • Attend progress and risk reduction meetings with clients and subcontractors.
  • Maximise value and profit, applying ‘Doing the right thing’ principles.
  • Assist estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise..

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of standard forms of contract.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, CEMAR, and Oracle systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with NEC3/4 Option C.
  • Main contract experience.
  • Professional qualification (MCIOB or MRICS, or working towards it).
  • Experience in Civil Engineering (Highways, Rail, Water, Aviation).
  • Exposure to large or multiple smaller schemes.
  • CSCS qualification (as appropriate).
