Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Duration: 6–9 Months
Day Rate: Competitive, DOE

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship regeneration development in the heart of Cardiff. This is a freelance role, ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong track record delivering complex, high-value projects within urban regeneration, residential, or mixed-use developments.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost management and commercial oversight for the full project lifecycle

• Manage procurement, tendering, and contract administration (JCT/NEC)

• Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts

• Liaise closely with the client, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain progress and budget targets

• Provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and risk management

✅ Requirements:

• Proven experience on regeneration, residential or mixed-use schemes (£20m+)

• Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and cost control

• RICS qualified (or working toward), preferred but not essential

• Based in or within commuting distance of Cardiff
