About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Block Manager to oversee the construction and delivery of a high-rise private accommodation project in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading development company and play a key role in a major build, ensuring high-quality standards and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site operations for the assigned block, ensuring smooth project delivery.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to meet deadlines and maintain quality.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

• Monitor progress, address any issues, and report regularly to senior management.

• Conduct quality checks and ensure all works are carried out to the highest standards.

• Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and local authorities.

• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within high-rise residential or private accommodation projects.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and industry best practices.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

• CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are desirable.
