Job Title: Electrical Fitter

Location: Doncaster

Pay: c£13.00 p/h

Job Summary

As an Electrical Fitter you will be responsible for the installation of electrical wiring and systems to the highest standard in line with the agreed customer specifications. You will be accountable for your own quality of work and will test, repair and commission new systems. You will complete installations in a timely manner and in accordance with the relevant company procedures. You will contribute to a clean, safe working environment for your self and the team and also be encouraged to engage in continuous improvement of systems, product and designs.

Duties

• Check base vehicle matches the relevant build specifications
• Carry out pre-build checks of the base vehicle and report any defects
• Carry out electrical installations to the correct specification in line with the build plan
• Complete installations in line with the agreed build times
• Follow the relevant standard operating procedures, designs, photos and drawings
• Contribute to the effective work of the team
• Assist in the development of other team members
• Help and support the Team leaders
• Complete installations to required high standards
• Complete all relevant paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Carry out duties in line with Health and Safety requirements and make supervisor aware of potential Health & Safety issues
• Adhere to relevant ISO / QMS process

• Correctly use tools and test equipment
• Have a good understanding of the conversion process
• Have good attention to detail and high standards of work
• Able to install and fault find electrical systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams
• Able to meet targets / deadlines
