Description

Are you a strategic thinker with a proven track record in bid management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute to sustained business growth? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are working with a growing national contractor, who are seeking a Bid Manager to join their team in Warrington, where you will play a pivotal role in managing bid submissions and proposals for exciting projects ranging from £500k to £250m. Your expertise will help them to not only meet but exceed expectations in every tender submission.

This role requires you to be technical and hands on as their Bid Managers are still involved in writing and will not be purely managing.

They also offer hybrid/remote working with some site visits as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and ensure the timely completion of high-quality bid submissions.
- Analyse tender documentation, extract key requirements, and communicate with all relevant parties using Tracking Sheets and Planning and Review meetings.
- Identify evaluation criteria and ensure alignment with specific bid responses.
- Develop strong internal and external relationships to support the bid process.
- Maintain up-to-date market intelligence, legislative requirements, and best practices, sharing insights with the team.
- Collaborate with Estimating teams to ensure resource allocation is adequate for tender submissions.
- Review all bids for relevance, accuracy, and quality before submission.
- Ensure a proactive approach to managing Client communications and follow-ups.

What They’re Looking For:
- Educated to A Level Standard with a strong command of MS Office.
- Proven experience in bid management across the full bid lifecycle.
- High attention to detail and up-to-date knowledge of the construction industry, particularly in social housing.
- Exceptional technical writing skills and a keen understanding of retrofitting.
- A confident and enthusiastic team player who can identify and leverage company USP’s and competitive advantages.

Why Join?
- Competitive salary and benefits package depending on experience.
- Opportunities for career progression as our company continues to grow.
- A dynamic and diverse work environment where your contributions will make a real difference.

If you're ready to take on this exciting challenge as a Bid Manager, we invite you to apply now! **Immediate interviews available for qualified candidates.**
