Our Client based in Sheffield S20 area are looking for an experienced Electrical Assembler
The Role
- To assemble and test Electrical/Electronic tyre inflation equipment to a world class standard, using standard operating procedures and schematic drawing
- Using fault finding techniques to diagnose quality issues and communicate with internal quality or suppliers
- Aiding the introduction of new products and developing standard processes
- To fully comply with all H&S rules and regulations
- To carry out any other duties as required by the business and comply with the company's policy

- Customer returns
- Housekeeping to a visit-ready level
- Efficiency targets
- Rework Levels
Key Objectives
- Assemble items to specifications utilising current SOP’s with minimum scrap/rework
- Items are quality checked before signing off
- Ensure conformance to HR/HS and E policies and procedures
- Meet customer demands
- Aid the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and techniques to gain continuous improvements
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements and cost reductions, communicating with Team Leader, piers and relevant departments
Skill Requirements:- The ability to work as part of a team without the need for close supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to follow instructions with a methodical approach.
- Organised and have good attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems that demonstrates both logical and creative thinking.
- Ability to stay calm and think logically in difficult situations.
- To be flexible and support other team members when required.
Experience:
Previous experience of assembling electrical products in a manufacturing environment essential.
A demonstrable self-motivator experienced at successfully delivering against challenging goals and targets.
