Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Hebburn, Tyne and Wear
Day Rate: Negotiable
Contract: Ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work schedules.
• Manage the procurement process, including tendering and contract negotiations.
• Conduct cost analysis and reporting to ensure financial control.
• Monitor project progress and manage variations.
• Value completed work and oversee payments to subcontractors.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, and site teams to ensure cost-efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in residential construction projects, ideally in new build housing schemes.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost management, and procurement processes.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, cost management tools).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Membership with RICS or a similar professional body (desirable).
