- Description
Undertake Installation of mechanical equipment on projects such as steel and plastic pipework, pumps, aeration blowers, valves, mixers, steelwork, pressure vessels, chemical dosing equipment etc. along with the installation of products such as Tertiary treatment filters, Scraper bridges, Aerators etc.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Undertake Mechanical Installation of plant & equipment.
- Undertake service and maintenance work on our clients plants and products.
- Undertake installation of equipment spares.
- Support site managers with M&E installations works across our projects.
- Support the project delivery team in the effective delivery and installation of our projects on site during installation and commissioning phases.
- Support the delivery team with quality control during fabrication and assembly phases of the project and carry out inspection visits to supplier and subcontractor premises as required.
- Ensure all activities undertaken are carried out safely in a planned way.
- Ensure adherence to Risk Assessments, Method Statements and permits to work.
- Liaising with subcontractors / clients as required by the contract.
- To maintain good communication links between the site installation manager and other members of the team, outside organisations and liaise with all staff.
- Attend subcontractors premises as required to undertake inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Appropriate CSCS Skills card
- EUSR Card
- Good understanding and knowledge of IT
- Full UK driving license
- Flexibility to occasionally work away from home
- Advantageous if the candidate has PAMSA, Confined Space, First Aid, SSSTS

- Completer/Finisher – Proven track record of closing out projects on time and within budget.
- Team Player – The ability to develop and manage a cross-functional team with a variety of skills and experience, as well as collaborating with other departments.
